Alysse Merila joined Meridian as a Summer Associate in 2019 and began as a Consultant in 2020. She advises clients on a broad range of executive compensation and governance matters, including executive and director benchmarking, peer group development, short- and long-term incentive plan design, and pay-for-performance analyses.

Alysse works with publicly traded, privately held, and pre-IPO/SPAC companies across a broad range of industries, including capital goods, consumer durables, financial services, restaurants, and retail. She is an active member of Meridian’s retail team and financial services team.

Additionally, Alysse contributes to internal research initiatives focused on governance practices, incentive plan structures, and change-in-control severance arrangements.

Prior to joining Meridian, Alysse interned at Aetna in their Human Resources and Compliance division. She holds a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
