Paakavy is a consultant with experience advising boards and senior management on a wide range of executive compensation matters. Areas of expertise include executive and director compensation benchmarking, peer group development, incentive plan design, CD&A disclosure, Say on Pay, and proxy advisor perspectives.

She has worked with both publicly traded and privately held companies in diverse industries, including retail, consumer goods, financial services, high tech, forestry, energy and utilities, oil and gas, and real estate.

Prior to joining Meridian, Paakavy was with another major compensation consulting firm as a senior consulting analyst in their executive compensation practice. She has a B.B.A from Wilfrid Laurier University and a B.Math from the University of Waterloo.
